We are thrilled to announce our beneficiary for Goosemas run: Bridges of Hope!
Located in North Charleston, less than 15 minutes from the Goosemas venue, Bridges of Hope (BOH) provides a safe group environment to support and empower children, teens and their families grieving a death.
BOH envisions a community that embraces those who are grieving by providing trauma-informed, kid-focused services to grieving children and their families where they can connect with peers who “get it.” Through activities like music, art, movement, and mindfulness, kids learn coping skills to live with their grief. BOH falls under WSF charitable giving pillars of the well-being of women and children and music therapy.
Over the next few weeks will be highlighting the programming and mission of BOH through an awareness and visibility campaign on our socials. We are stoked to be working with an org like BOH who has such an important mission.
